The office has a 15 minute late policy. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled time of your appointment, we may require you to reschedule in order to avoid delaying other patients appointments. Exceptions may be made at our discretion, dependent upon the circumstances and time constraints.
After Hours
We provide 24 hour coverage for emergencies at 301-220-0300. If you have a life or limb threatening emergency please call 911.
About Our Practice
Ford Medical Associates, PA is a private Internal Medicine group located in Prince George's County. There are two physicians in the practice; all board certified in Internal Medicine. Our practice was established in 1999 as a successor to the George Washington University Primary Care Associates Greenbelt and Camp Springs Health Centers which were closed during that year.
Location
We are convenient to many areas with our location near the intersection of the Capital Beltway and the Baltimore Washington Parkway. Our offices are completely Handicapped Accessible and there is ample free parking. For detailed directions to our office Click Here.
Payment
We accept cash, Visa/MasterCard and ATM cards. We must collect your required copay at every visit because of insurance company rules (ATM machines are located near our office). If you have not yet met your annual deductible, you may be required to pay your entire bill at the time of your visit. There is a $35 fee for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours from the scheduled time.

Hearing Impaired Patients
An interpreter will be provided by the patient's insurance company upon request. The patient must contact the insurance company in advance to make arrangements for the interpreter.
Your First Visit
On the first visit to Ford Medical Associates, PA you will be required to complete some forms regarding your insurance/billing and your personal health history. If you have health records from previous physicians, please bring them with you. You may print and fill out the financial information and personal health history forms from our Form Library in advance to save time. Please note that patients who previously were seen at our office under the GWU management will need to complete these forms again. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience, but this is required by the insurance companies. We suggest that all new patients plan to arrive 15 minutes before their appointment times to allow for processing.
